Electronics
Two '57 Classic. These humbuckers have been introduced in 1992 and deliver a warm tone with a linear response and a pleasant crunch. Obviously these pickups are a reissue, but with the same specs of the original versions, like for instance the Alnico II magnets.
This instrument is really suitable to classic Rock, but thanks to the good quality of the pickups it turns out rather flexible.
Potentiometers and switch
In this image we can see the four knobs for volume (300k) and tone (500k), the switch for the choice of the pickups (3 positions) and the jack for the output of the signal.

Gibson produces two versions of this guitar. The '61 Reissue Satin is less expensive than the standard version thanks to some differences, like the satin finish and the wood for the fingerboard, a Backed Maple. All the other elements are the same.
A good choice
Certainly, a great electric guitar. Warm sound, perfect action, an extraordinary look. The price of the Gibson SG '61 Reissue, about 1.800 euros, is proportioned to the value of the instrument.
