Vintage Hot Rod '62

Vintage Hot Rod '62

It features an Alder body, a Rosewood fingerboard with 21 Medium Jumbo frets and a beautiful Maple neck. Certainly, an important added value of this electric guitar. It is thick, with a C shape and a nitro finish for the back. Like always, neck is absolutely personal. Generally i prefer a thin neck, but i have to say that it is excellent. Much comfortable.

Controls, bridge and pickups.

The bridge is an American Vintage Synchronized Tremolo, while the pickups are three American Vintage Strat, single-coil. We will speak about these pickups afterwards. The overall finish is perfect. Truly a masterpiece. As we can see in the image below, are available two knobs for tone and one for volume.

Flexible and versatile

First of all, it is very quiet, even at an high volume. The tone is open, almost brilliant. Much balanced. There is no volume difference between lows, mids and highs. All frequencies are perfectly inserted in the same context. Everything is where it must be. If you love the Strat sound this Vintage Hot Rod '62 will not disappoint you. It's sure. You can play Blues, Rock, clean tones, Jazz, Funky. What you want. I really loved the warm Jazz tone. Really amazing. The neck pickup can produce an excellent clean tone. Every note is absolutely definite and clear. Beautiful.

Available colors

  • 3 Tone Sunburst
  • Olympic White
  • Sherwood Metallic

What to say.The tone produced from this masterpiece is fabulous and, if you like a C-shape neck, it is also much comfortable. The list price is rather high, but in the shops you can find the Vintage Hot Rod '62 at a lower price.
