Vintage Hot Rod '57

Vintage Hot Rod '57

Features

First of all the extraordinary neck. Maple, 1 piece. This is one of the best Strat necks i have played. It is very slim, with a flat radius and 21 beautiful frets, Medium Jumbo, bigger than the Standard Vintage '57. The nitrocellulose finish, perfectly glossed, produces a very glamorous effect. Maple also for the fingerboard. The body is in an excellent Alder. Action is perfect, in my opinion, but this depends on your taste. The Bridge is a Synchronized Tremolo, while tuners are Fender/Gotoh. Hardware is chrome. Pickguard is 1-ply, of good quality. A beautiful case is included.

A good result

A perfect job with the body. The excellent quality of the Alder is amplified from the thin nitrocellulose finish. This, together with the 1-piece neck and with 3 great pickups creates a fabulous Tone. The neck pickup produces a very responsive Tone, with great basses and a sort of natural Reverb. Really beautiful. The middle is perfect for clean tones or for a tone similar to an acoustic guitar. Dry. Ideal for the electric Fingerpicking. The bridge pickup is a DiMarzio Tone Zone, good for distorted and Crunch tones. It produces an high output and a great sustain. Perfect for leads. As a whole it turns out extremely flexible, capable to play Blues, Jazz, Funk or even Metal.

Conclusions

This is a quality instrument, with a great electronics and an extraordinary playability. Woods are excellent, and it is finished with a great cure. What to say. The Vintage Hot Rod '57 is not cheap, but if you test it, it's sure, you will love this jewel.
