The looper
A useful and interesting function that can record up to 38 seconds of audio, in mono mode. It provides the Overdub, so the user can build a complex phrase without cancelling the previous job.
The microphonic input
It is equipped with an XLR with the Phantom Power, so it accepts also a condenser microphone. Obviously, this is a necessary feature for a product that has been designed to be fast and user-friendly, but good also in a professional context.
50 memory locations
30 ready-to-use presets are a combination of different effects, up to 6. Every one can be activated, edited or deactivated. Successively they can be stored as new patches.

A good Boss product, above all for who is looking for a portable device. The VE-20 works with 6 batteries and provides some quality effects and 30 ready-to-use sounds, 50 memory locations and the Phantom Power for condenser microphones.
