Digitech CR-7 Effects Pedal : Review

Certainly, much valid

It puts at user disposal up to 7 different choruses and features 3 controls, more a knob for the selection of the type. It is equipped with 2 inputs, 2 outputs and the true bypass, so, when the effect is off, it doesn't alter the original signal of the guitar. The constant high-voltage operation is one of the main added values of this pedal, that, in addition, turns out very quiet.
Let's see a brief analysis of the 4 controls.

The volume.

This knob adjusts the modulation speed that generates the effect.

The intensity. By turning this control counterclockwise the CR-7 produces a slight modulation of the original sound. By turning it clockwise it produces a deep and rich chorus.

  • Boutique

  • Jazz

General opinion

Really a good product. The Digitech HardWire Series includes only quality devices, and the CR-7 doesn't disappoint. The price is justified.

An important feature is a switch that divides the signal between the effect and the analog sound of the guitar. It is flexible and complete and with all the modern features that today are necessary.

The EZ Tone provides an innovative user interface. A mix of graphical icons and intuitive terms, like, for example, SOFT, HARD, SOLO or FOR BACKING, allow an immediate adjusting of the patches. All is really fast.
