Thin and lightweight
It weighs only 57g (2 ounces) with battery, and it is thick only 21mm (1 inch). It is powered with a single battery, AAA or rechargeable, but thanks to the good electronics it guarantees up to 16 hours in WAV mode and 26 in MP3 mode. The useful clip lets you put the recorder where you need without problems.
Many possibilities
In spite of the small dimensions, it delivers an excellent audio quality. In WAV the user can choose a 24-bit/96kHz or a 16-bit/44.1kHz resolution. In MP3 you can create audio at 64kbps, 128kbps or 320kbps. It works also with WMA files. Thanks to the extended battery life and the headphones output, it can be used also like a music player.
Functions
A voice automatic recording system, the auto level control, the sensitivity select (high, middle, low), a 5-band EQ, the playback speed, the ID3 tag and the playlist in m3u format.
Software
Cubase AI5, a good software for the editing that can handle up to 48 audio tracks and includes 31 effects and 480 drum loops. In addition, it provides a speaker emulator. Obviously, it is equipped with the USB, so the connection to the PC is easy and fast.
The price is legitimate
The Pocketrak C24 is really a good product. Lightweight and thin, it features a modern electronics, many advanced features and a rather valid software. Everything at an excellent price. My opinion is absolutely positive.
