BR-1200CD

Designed to be easy

All controls, buttons, knobs and faders, are logically arranged. The three basic operations, recording, mixing and CD burning, follow a logical flow on the front panel. All the recording operations are in the left side of the panel, while in the middle there is the mixer section. The button "Audio CD Write/Play" starts the CD-RW.

COSM models

It includes a complete multi-effects derived from the Boss GT-6, a valid floorboard. You can use a large collection of emulations of amps, pedals and mics or the classic effects for guitar, bass and vocals. When the job is complete you can finalize your music with the mastering section.

A good audio quality, perhaps not like the most modern devices, but there is all the necessary for a professional result. The sampling rate is 44.1 kHz at 16 bits. The A/D conversion is 24-bit AF Method for the Guitar/Bass input and 24 bit delta-sigma Modulation for the other inputs. The D/A conversion is 24 bit delta-sigma Modulation. The internal processing is at 24-bit. The frequency response is 20 Hz to 20 kHz (+1/-3 dB), while the total distortion is 0.05%.

The Drum and Bass machine

You can program your personal patterns or, if you want, you can use the EZ Compose function, a very fast way to obtain drum patterns. In addition it includes many pre-installed loop phrases.

General opinion

The BR-1200CD is a professional device with a good audio quality, a complete multi-effects, a beautiful drum machine and a CD-RW. The price is approximately 700 Euros, but i believe that, used, it can be really a good choice.
